Birthplace: Brazil

Biologist, graduated in 2020 from the University of São Paulo, I have experience in the field of Marine Ecology, Environmental Anthropology, Conservation Biology, and Education. I have completed various courses in the conservation biology of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and wild mammals in forest environments, as well as courses in conservation resources and environmental education in marine and coastal ecosystems. I volunteered as a teacher for three years (2015 - 2017) in the non-formal education and outreach project Estação Biologia (USP), teaching biology and conducting educational activities for children, teenagers, adults, and individuals with special needs. I worked as a monitor in classroom and field courses on invertebrate biology, marine biology, and anthropology. I conducted a research project at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver - CA) on the ecology and conservation of freshwater invertebrates in temperate forests impacted by logging. I completed my undergraduate thesis at the Cultivation and Studies of Cnidaria Laboratory, Department of Zoology - USP, where I researched the effect of salinity on the development and reproduction of Scyphozoa polyps. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in the Laboratory of Marine Invertebrate Ecology under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rémy Rochette, validating functions of embryonic development in American lobsters. My main interests lie in anthropogenic effects on the environment and the relationship between people and nature. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
