PhD in Agricultural Microbiology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP/FCAV), with an internship at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica (ITQB NOVA Oeiras, Portugal). Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and Master's in Conservation and Management of Natural Resources. I work in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Bioinformatics, with experience in using bioinformatics tools for gene prospection in genomic and metagenomic databases, DNA extraction, PCR technique, gel electrophoresis, Next Generation Sequencing, and gene cloning. I also have experience in macromolecule crystallography; structural modeling and molecular docking; expression, purification, and characterization of proteins of biotechnological interest. I am currently a Postdoctoral fellow in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics at the Department of Veterinary Clinic and Surgery at UNESP/FCAV, where she analyzes horses' intestinal microbiota with acute abdomen.
