Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (FFCLRP - USP), with a focus on applied mycology. He is a member of the International Society for Mushroom Science (ISMS) and the founder of Cultiverso, a brand through which he offers courses, consulting services, and supplies for mushroom growers. He has shared his expertise with over 1,000 students, contributing to the popularization of mushroom cultivation and diversity in Brazil.He has solid experience in applied microbiology and microbial biochemistry, with an emphasis on fungal diversity and its biotechnological applications. He has participated in the development of projects in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, covering topics such as antioxidant compounds, lignocellulolytic enzymes, solid and liquid-state fermentation, biological pest control, cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms, and the production of mycelium-based biomaterials. In parallel, he works in environmental education, participating in the Arte na Terra and Eco Educa projects, leading field activities focused on ecological awareness, biodiversity appreciation, and connection with nature.During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded various academic scholarships, including PIBIC-CNPq, TT-1 FAPESP, Startup USP, and the AUSPIN Entrepreneurship Scholarship, the latter enabling a seven-month international immersion in England.With a strong interest in sustainability, bioeconomy, and the circular economy, he believes in the transformative potential of scientific knowledge combined with the conservation and conscious use of biodiversityespecially fungias a path toward innovative and regenerative solutions to the challenges of our time.
