Graduated in Licentiate and Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (USP), Master's and Doctorate in Science (Botanical area) from the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo. Postdoc in the Department of Plant Biology at Michigan State University. MS5.3 Associate Professor linked to the Phytochemistry Laboratory of the Department of Botany at IBUSP, acting as a professor in undergraduate courses in the subjects 'Plant economic resources', 'Analysis of medicinal plant extracts', 'Plant metabolites: origin, diversity and applications', 'Practices on plant economic resources' and 'Biology and citizenship'. She advises graduate students at master's and doctoral level, being responsible for the subjects 'Plant-herbivore interactions: environmental and economic implications' and 'Topics in phytochemistry I'.
