Graduated in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology from the Federal University of Paraná (2021). He is currently a PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Its main target of study is to investigate the interaction mechanisms between the immune system and bacteria. Particularly, the action of products of bacterial metabolism, short-chain fatty acids, through post-translational modifications of histones in models of inflammation and infection. The objective of his research is to identify the molecular targets involved in the action of these compounds on the immune system and to develop therapeutic strategies based on them.
