Marcio Giachetta Paulilo is a professional transitioning to a new career: Music Composer/Conductor. Previously, has been an Engineer and Business Administrator. In 2018, returned to the university for a Bachelors degree in Orchestral and Choral Conducting at University of Sao Paulo. Along with the university, Marcio acts as a musician, composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. Within the Bachelors degree Marcio performed choral activities on an Internship at "Comunicantus: Choral Laboratory", between 2018 and 2019. Since 2019, maintain a voice-guitar duo named Duo Zé Piá, along with the singer Deborah Marchini, arranging and performing transitions from concerto music to Brazilian popular music. During the COVID-19 quarantine, has released solo, duo and small groups performances through his social media. In 2021/2022, conducted scientific research on computer-aided modelling of compositional systems, under orientation of Full Professor Silvio Ferraz, with research grant from FAPESP, conducted in parallel with the bachelor degree. Until 2017, in his previous career, Marcio cumulated 20+ years of professional experience, and 15 years of leadership as an executive for strategy and management consulting firms, running corporate projects in Strategy, Finance and Risk Management for leading companies of several industries (Banking, Mining, Utilities, Retail, Telecom, and others). In addition to his current bachelors degree in Music, Marcio has a Master's degree in Business Administration (USP-FEA, 2005) and a B.S. degree in Mechatronics Engineering (USP-POLI, 1997), a well as a Finance & Performance Management specialisation from INSPER University.
