He is a researcher at the Center for the Study of Violence (NEV-USP), a contributor to the Public Security Observatory (OSP-UNESP) and to the research group Democracy, Military and the Military Left in Brazil. He has experience in the field of Sociology and Political Science, working mainly on the following subjects: Civil-Military Relations, Militarism, Armed Forces and Democracy, Public Security and Defense, Military and Society and Police Institutions.
