Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Astronomia, Geofísica e Ciências Atmosféricas (IAG)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have experience in Geosciences, with an emphasis on Geology and Geophysics. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES) and a Masters and PhD in Geophysics from the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of São Paulo (IAG-USP). During my Masters, I conducted research on post-collisional Cambro-Ordovician magma emplacement, combining micropetrology, geochemistry, geochronology, and anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility, as well as paleomagnetic data acquisition. I obtained my PhD in Geophysics from IAG-USP, funded by FAPESP, with a focus on the study of chemical remagnetization in carbonate rocks, through (i) the acquisition of magnetic mineralogy data, (ii) imaging of magnetic nanoparticles using synchrotron radiation, and (iii) investigation of their magnetic properties through numerical modeling. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Mineral Magnetism at the School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom. My research focuses on integrating nanoscale analyses with micromagnetic models to elucidate macroscopic behaviors of rock magnetism, with applications in paleomagnetic sciences.
