I am a clinical exercise physiologist and hold a PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo Medical School (FMUSP). I am an associate researcher at the FMUSP Lifestyle Medicine Center, a member of the Applied Physiology and Nutrition Research Group, and the Laboratory of Assessment and Conditioning in Rheumatology at Hospital das Clínicas (HCFMUSP). My research focuses on lifestyle medicine, therapeutic effects of nutrition and exercise in chronic diseases and aging, muscle physiology, and clinical exercise physiology.
