Currently (since 2016) works as a Professor at the Department of Engineering and Computer Science (DEC) and at the Postgraduate Program in Biology and Biotechnology of Microorganisms (PPGBBM) both from the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC, Ilhéus/BA). Area of Expertise and Reasearch: Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Biocatalysis, Microbiology, Fermentation, Food Engineering and Design of Experiments - DOE.
