Bachelor of Biomedicine with a Master's and PhD in Computational Biology and Systems from the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (Fiocruz) and post-doctorate at Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste. Has extensive experience in Bioinformatics, which began during the scientific initiation with Sequence Alignment, SNPs, and Phylogeny. During the Master's and PhD, worked with genomics, metagenomics, and microbiomes, performing Taxonomic and Functional Analyses, Mapping, Recovery of MAGs and Mobile Elements, and Integration Networks. During the post-doctorate, investigated the association between microbiomes of Nelore bulls with different diets and phenotypes, based on the analysis and integration of multi-omics data (genomics, metagenomics, metatranscriptomics, and metabolomics).
