My academic journey is distinguished by a steadfast dedication to scientific research and technological innovation. Over the past five years, I have been actively engaged in projects spanning diverse fields of study, consistently focusing on addressing complex challenges and contributing to the advancement of knowledge. During this period, I was a FAPESP fellow for three years and participated in a BEPE exchange program in Switzerlandexperiences that were pivotal to my development as a researcher. A significant portion of my work has been centered on the development of hydrogels with applications in 3D printing and materials engineering. I have worked with systems based on bacterial cellulose nanocrystals, fibroin, and gellan gum, investigating their properties to create biocompatible and mechanically robust structures. In one of my most innovative projects, I explored the potential of multifunctional hydrogels by incorporating magnetic nanoparticles of magnetite and sodium diclofenac, aiming to develop a four-dimensional (4D) responsive material with controlled drug release capabilities. My experience in Switzerland was another defining milestone, where I was directly involved in the formulation and characterization of advanced hydrogels tailored for 3D printing applications. This international exposure not only provided me access to cutting-edge techniques but also allowed me to collaborate with scientists from diverse backgrounds, enriching my interdisciplinary perspective.
