Bachelor in Physics by the Institute of Physics at the University of Sao Paulo (2023). He is currently a master's degree candidate at the same institution at the Department of Mathematical Physics since the beginning of 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Oscar José Pinto Eboli, developing research about the use of the Hilbert Series in the context of Effective Field Theories, more specifically of higher spin dark matter theories. In this project we will systematically study the interactions of higher spin (3/2 and 2) candidates for dark matter. We will employ the Hilbert series to count the number of independent effective operators as a function of the large scale mass scale. The goal of this project is to prepare the student to do research in Particle Physics. To accomplish that, we complement his under graduated studies studying topics of interest to Particle Physics. Furthermore, the student will be engaged in a small project using the LEP II data in order to get acquainted with the day-by-day tools of the field.(AU)
It is well known that effective field theories exhibit unitarity violation at high energies signaling the breakdown of the expansion. This project aims to study the partial-wave unitarity constraints on the Wilson coefficients of effective lagrangians parametrizing the interaction of spin-2 candidates for dark matter. (AU)
