He has a Master's degree in State, Education and Society from the Facultad Latinoamericana en Ciencias Sociales - FLACSO/Argentina (1987), a PhD in Education from the State University of Campinas (1992). Post-doctorate at Maryland University (USA) (2015 -2016) where he carried out the research "The Education Policy in the United States and its influence in Brazil". She is currently Associate Professor and Coordinator of Research and Scientific Dissemination at the Faculty of Education/State University of Campinas - Unicamp, coordinator of the Research Group on Politics, Education and Society - GPPES. She is co-coordinator of the EMpesquisa Interinstitutional Group. Has a Productivity Grant from CNPq. She was coordinator of the Associated Centers Program - CAPES - Brazil/Argentina. She is currently the representative of the Postgraduate in Education/FE - Unicamp in the Latin American Network of Methodology in Social Sciences. Coordinator of the Public Policies of Education, State and Society Project: reverberations in human formation in the Print-Capes Internationalization Program, at FE, Unicamp and member of the GT of Clacso Educational Policy and y Right to Education. At Anped he works on the scientific committee as an ad hoc evaluator of GT 5 - State, politics, and education. He has experience in the area of Education, with an emphasis on Educational Policy and Sociology, working mainly on the following topics: public action, comparative research, Latin America, High School, international organizations and educationand educational governance.
