Marco is a mechatronics engineering student at the University of São Paulo. He attended high school in Jundiaí (São Paulo) at Colégio Leonardo da Vinci, where he was awarded a scholarship due to his academic performance. During his undergraduate studies, he took part in an extracurricular project of the university called Poli Náutico, whose focus lies on devising and developing ship models for contests. Since the end of 2019, he has been participating in the Biomechatronics Laboratory of the University of São Paulo, where he got to know various research areas and his interest was aroused in the field of brain-machine interfaces towards motor rehabilitation.
