He has been a Visiting Fellow at HTW Berlin (Germany) and a Visiting Professor at the University Paris 13 (France), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO, Russia), Free University of Berlin (Germany), Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (China). At the University of Campinas, he was the Director of the Confucius Institute from 2016 to 2024; and he is currently Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Economics at BRICS Network University (BRICS NU). The project aims to analyze the variations and peculiarities of the exchange rates of the BRICS, which includes Brazil, Russia, India and China, taking into account the characteristics of each exchange rate regime adopted by these countries and exogenous determinants at the exchange rates between 2000 and 2013.
