Bruna Tiaki Tiyo

Bachalored in Biomedical Sciences at the State University of Maringá (UEM). During her major, she acquired experience in #8203;#8203;parasitology, with an emphasis on toxoplasmosis, mainly working with detection of the parasite in vegetables by performing polymerase chain reaction (PCR), experimental contamination, and genotyping. During the masters program, she worked with the association between genes and diseases (immunogenetics), getting her masters degree from the Biosciences and Pathophysiology Program at the State University of Maringá (UEM). Recently, she obtained her PhD at the School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (FMUSP) and worked with monocyte-derived dendritic cells(aDC1)andHIV. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
