FAPESP Postdoc in Statistical Physics at ICTP-SAIFR at IFT-UNESP in São Paulo since 2022. I was a postdoc at the Universidad de Chile, Santiago, between 2019 and 2021. I have a PhD in Physics from the Department of Mathematics at King's College London (2019), Master's in Physics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE, 2014) and Bachelor in Physics from UFPE (2011 ). I was a temporary lecturer at the Department of Physics at UFPE from 2013 to 2014, and a temporary lecturer at the Polytechnic School of Engineering at the University of Pernambuco (UPE) in 2014. I work on the development and application of new physical models based on Statistical Physics to understand phenomena in biological systems and other types of soft condensed matter systems. I also study the phenomena in rigid body non-linear dynamics. As an undergraduate, I studied properties of trapped waves parallel to the coast of Brazil at the Department of Oceanography.
