Associate Professor (with Habilitation / Livre-Docência) at São Paulo State University (UNESP), with research dedicated to solving complex environmental problems through the advanced application of Geospatial Technologies and Statistical Modeling. With a solid background in Cartographic Sciences (MSc and PhD) and Geoprocessing (Livre-Docência), she leads the Research Group on Geotechnologies Applied to Environmental Studies (GPGAEA), investigating the interactions between land use, water resources, and biodiversity. Her career is marked by extensive international experience, including a Fulbright Research Scholarship in the USA and a postdoctoral fellowship in Portugal. She is actively engaged at the academia-society interface, serving as a member of the Paranapanema River Basin Committee (CBH-MP) and contributing to the scientific community as a member of the Reviewer Board for high-impact journals, such as Remote Sensing.
