I have a DMV degree by Federal University of Uberlandia (2000), MSc in Microbiology by UNESP Jaboticabal (2003) and PhD in the Postgraduate Program in Experimental Epidemiology Applied to Zoonoses - Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics - University of São Paulo (FMVZ / USP) (2021). Post-doctoral training at University of California Davis Department of Population Health and Reproduction, School of Veterinary Medicine (2022). I work as a Scientific Researcher at the Instituto Biológico - Advanced Research and Development Center in Poultry Health (IB - CEAV). I am Tecnhical Manager of Molecular Biology Laboratory and the Serological Section. My research is related to Poultry Health, mainly in the following subjects: molecular biology, real time PCR, conventional PCR, viral diseases of importance to poultry (avian infectious laryngotracheitis, avian influenza, Newcastle disease, avian infectious bronchitis), serological tests for the diagnosis of poultry diseases (SPA, ELISA and AGID techniques), avian mycoplasmosis, salmonellosis.
