Currently, I am a PhD student in the Graduate Program (PPG) in Molecular and Morphofunctional Biology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), a program with a CAPES concept 6 rating. My doctoral project, supported by a CAPES scholarship, focuses on prostate cancer (PCa), one of the leading causes of male mortality. Specifically, I investigate molecular signatures associated with obesity and tumor aggressiveness, aiming to identify new biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets. This work is developed in collaboration with the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) and the State University of São Paulo (UNESP). I completed my Master's degree (2025) in the Graduate Program in General and Applied Biology at UNESP - Botucatu, also a CAPES concept 6 program, during which I held a FAPESP scholarship. My academic journey began at the same university, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. During my undergraduate studies, I conducted scientific research, also funded by FAPESP. All my research projects, from scientific initiation to my current PhD, are supervised by Prof. Dr. Sérgio Luis Felisbino at the Laboratory of Cancer Morphofunctional Studies (LabCAMS).Throughout my academic career, I have consistently focused on integrating teaching, research, and extension into my training, participating in various outreach, innovation, and event organization activities. I possess solid experience in cell biology techniques and cell culture. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
