Carlos Eduardo Ferreira Lopes

Graduated in Physics from UEFS (2006), with a Master's from UFPB (2009) and a PhD from UFRN (2013), including an internship at the Institute of Astrophysics of PUC-Chile. Worked at UFRN (20132014) and the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh (20142016) as a postdoctoral researcher. Since 2013, collaborates with PUC-Chile on the VVV project and leads research on photometric data mining. Currently a researcher at the Universidad de Atacama (since 2023), with expertise in observational stellar astrophysics and the analysis of large photometric survey data. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
