Biologist (UNESP, Rio Claro, SP, Brazil), Master and Doctor in Entomology (ESALQ/USP, Piracicaba, SP, Brazil). She completed two postdoctoral fellowships, one at Penn State University (USA, PA) and the second at ESALQ/USP. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the Department of Entomology at UFLA, coordinates the Laboratory of Chemical Ecology of Insect-Plant Interactions (LEQIIP), and advises master's and doctoral students in the graduate programs in Entomology and Applied Ecology at UFLA. She served as Coordinator of the Entomology Graduate Program (PPG Entomology) from 2021 to 2023 and has been actively involved in graduate education as a member of the graduate program committees since 2016. She was a council member of the Latin American Association of Chemical Ecology (ALAEQ) and the International Society of Chemical Ecology (ISCE) for 4 years. Currently, she is a member of the Natural Resources, Environmental Sciences, and Technologies Chamber - CRA of FAPEMIG (2025-2027) and serves on the executive committee of ALAEQ as secretary. She supports the scientific community as an associate editor for the Journal of Applied Ecology, PLoS One, and Entomological Communications, and as a reviewer for various national and international indexed journals. She is a CNPq Research Productivity Fellow - Level 2. Her research focuses on applied chemical ecology, chemical ecology of insect-plant interactions, multitrophic interactions, and plant-vector-pathogen relationships.
