Master in Social History at the University of São Paulo under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rafael de Bivar Marquese and funding from the São Paulo Research Foundation - FAPESP. Currently, he researches the relations between wage labor and slave labor in the British Empire and the capitalist world economy through the colonial press of British Ceylon, the third largest coffee producer in the second half of the 19th century. Interested in the History of Asia, the History of the British Empire, the Social History of Labor and commodity production.
