Samantha Camacam de Moraes

I hold a degree in Psychology from Universidade Estadual Paulista (2017), a masters degree in School Education from the same institution (2020), and I am currently a doctoral student in Sociology at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (Ufscar), under the supervision of Professor Maria Aparecida de Moraes Silva, Ph.D. My doctoral research, funded by Fapesp (Process No. 2021/00305-2), explores the trajectory of sociologist Heleieth Saffioti in the Brazilian and French sociological and feminist fields. As part of this research, I undertook a doctoral internship at the Centre Population et Développement (Ceped UMR 196), Université Paris Cité (202324), under the supervision of Professor Isabel Georges, Ph.D., supported by the Research Internship Abroad Scholarship (BEPE/Fapesp) (Process No. 2023/02845-0)..I am a member of the CNPq research group "Terra, Trabalho, Migração e Memória" (TRAMA), serve on the editorial board of Revue Brésil(s), and have academic interests in the fields of feminism, Marxism, social movements, social psychology, sociological theory, and intellectuals.
