Currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Bioenergy Program at the University of São Paulo (USP). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Universidad de la Amazonia (Colombia) and a Master's degree in Technology of Chemical and Biochemical Processes from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Between October 2024 and January 2025, conducted a research internship (sandwich Ph.D.) at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) in Cambridge (United Kingdom), focusing on crop phenotyping through hyperspectral analysis induced by DNA-functionalized nanoparticles. Develops multidisciplinary research involving gene silencing mediated by nanotechnology, proteomics, and gene expression studies in microalgae. His research aims to understand the mechanisms of metabolic regulation in these organisms, with emphasis on applications in the biotechnology and agriculture sectors.
