Daniela was graduated at the Federal University of Bahia and began her scientific career by testing silver nanoparticles and Propolis against different microorganisms. In 2021, she presents her course completion work entitled: Biofilms of Candida sp.: Characteristics and susceptibility to silver nanoparticles. That same year, she entered the master's degree in cell and molecular biology at the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto with the project: Persistence of respiratory syncytial virus in an experimental model advised by Professor Eurico Arruda and after a few months her FAPESP scholarship was approved. She is currently in the final stages of her master's project and has experience with a murine model, cell culture, primary cell culture and different viral detection techniques.
