She has a master's degree in General Physiology from the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (IB-USP) and a degree in Biological Sciences from the University Center of Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU). She is currently working on her master's degree at the Molecular Chronobiology Laboratory (LabCronoMol) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), investigating the role of the GPNMB protein in hepatic glucose metabolism in mice fed a high-fat diet, with funding from the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). In recognition of her work, she received a Travel Award from the Pan American Neuroendocrine Society (PANS) and an Honorable Mention for her presentation at the LIX Annual Congress of the Brazilian Society of Physiology, both in 2024. During her undergraduate studies, she conducted a scientific initiation project at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB-USP) between 2021 and 2022, also with a scholarship from FAPESP, focused on the secondary changes induced by glaucoma in an animal model that develops the disease spontaneously, with an emphasis on the biological clock and liver metabolism.
