Extensive experience in Protection of Electrical Systems, Commissioning of IEDs, and Simulation/Analysis of Electromagnetic Transients, working directly in the area of Research and Development of tools applied to Electrical Engineering. PhD in Electrical Engineering by EESC-USP (São Carlos School of Engineering - University of São Paulo), Master in Technological Innovation by UFTM (Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro), specialist in Automation and Quality Engineering, and holds an MBA in Project Management. He has lectured on Protection and Commissioning of equipment at secondary/primary level, Oscillography Analysis and Electromagnetic Transients. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Electrical Engineering at EESC-USP (São Carlos School of Engineering - University of São Paulo), where he works in the areas of: fault diagnosis and protection of systems with inverter-based resources; protection functions and fault diagnosis based on traveling waves; detection of islanding in systems with distributed sources.
