Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP), with an emphasis in Marine Biology (20202023). Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Coastal Environments Biodiversity at UNESP IB/CLP and a member of the Structural Molecular Biology Laboratory (LABIMES). My research focuses on peroxiredoxins (Prx), especially the AhpC enzyme from Escherichia coli (EcAhpC). I work on the characterization of this protein, the evaluation of its interaction with biological substrates (such as lipid-derived peroxides), and the screening of natural and semi-synthetic compounds with potential inhibitory activity against EcAhpC, aiming at the discovery of new antimicrobial strategies.
