Graduated in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Bahia (2014), Master in Multicentric in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Bahia (2016) and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Bahia (2021). I have experience in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Plant Biotechnology, acting on the following topics: Characterization of Castor Bean genotypes (morphometry, germination, seedling vigor), enzymatic activity (Superoxide dismutase - SOD), seed viability (Tetrazolium), abiotic stresses in plants (water restriction, salt and heat stresses), cloning, genetic transformation of plants (Arabidosis thaliana), oxidative stress, plant tolerance to abiotic stresses, functional characterization of genes, regulatory mechanism of flowering. He is currently POST-DOC at the University of São Paulo (USP) at the Laboratory of Post-Transcriptional Control of Gene Expression, working on research related to the understanding of nuclear transport of RNA exosome subunits, using yeast as a model.
