I taught classes on screenwriting for cinema, television, and VODs at Anhembi Morumbi University (2015-2016), Thales Castanho de Andrade's Library (2017), and University of Campinas (2018; 2020); film and media theory at University of São Paulo (2018 and 2019) and film genre at University of Campinas (2021). I was a tutor at Virtual University of São Paulo (2021-2022) and an associate editor (2019-2022) of Zanzalá The Brazilian Journal for Genre Studies (ISSN 2236-8191). I have presented papers at SOCINE (Brazilian Society for Cinema and Audiovisual Studies), SSAAANZ (Screen Studies Association of Australia & Aotearoa New Zealand), and at the Ciclo de Conferencias sobre Géneros Cinematográficos (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana - UAMX), amongst others. Currently, I am researching both the development and the uses of genres in contemporary screen and media, with a scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
