PhD in Physiotherapy from the Federal University of São Carlos, she researched, at the Physiotherapeutic Resources Laboratory (LAREF/UFSCar), the effects of traditional Acupuncture and Laser Acupuncture on individuals with chronic neck pain. With a Master's degree in Gerontology from the Federal University of São Carlos, she researched, at the Laboratory of Biology of Aging (LABEN / UFSCar), the levels of ADAM10 protease, in cerebrospinal fluid and blood serum, as a biomarker for diagnosing Alzheimer's disease. Graduated in Physiotherapy and graduated in Neuropsychoanalysis from the Faculty of Minas Gerais. Specialized in the areas of Psychosomatic Medicine (Brazilian Association of Regional Psychosomatic Medicine of São Paulo) and Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture (Hermínio Ometto University).
