Abstract
The Anaphase Promoter Complex (APC) is a multiprotein complex - an E3 ubiquitin ligase - involved in ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of cell cycle regulatory proteins, which include the destruction of mitotic cyclins during the transition of metaphase to anaphase.
