Graduated in Biological Science - Medical Modality from Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá, Master's and Doctorate in Sciences from Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto - USP. She did postdoctoral work at the University of Miami, Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute-Miami, USA. She is currently a Researcher at the Molecular Oncology Research Center of the Pio XII-Hospital de Câncer de Barretos (HCB), Young Researcher at FAPESP, professor and advisor of the Graduate Program at the Institute of Teaching and Research at HCB. Member of the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) and coordinator of the Animal Use Ethics Committee (CEUA) and the Commission for the Management of Scholarships and Research (CGBP) of the same institution. She has experience in the areas of Genetics and Molecular Biology, acting mainly in the search for biomarkers for pediatric tumors (microRNAs, mutations, DNA methylation) and in in vitro and in vivo models for the analysis of therapeutic response, acting in the investigation of mechanisms related to the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).
