Fabiana Rocha Mendes

She holds a degree in Biology at PUC PR (2001), specialization in Conservation Biology Wildlife Management from the same institution (2003), Masters in Animal Biology at UNESP São José do Rio Preto (2005) and Ph.D. in Sciences Biology (Zoology) at UNESP Rio Claro (2010). Participates in the executive board of the Neotropical Institute: Research and Conservation since 2010. She has experience about wildlife and captivity mammals, population size, ethnozoology, forest fragmentation and defaunation. She works in conservation biology and ecology. Develops environmental studies programs with Brazilian mammals, especially mammals of medium and large size of the Atlantic Forest. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
