Ph.D. candidate in Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering at the School of Engineering of São Carlos University of São Paulo (EESC/USP), focusing on biological wastewater treatment and energy recovery from agro-industrial residues. Holds a Master's degree from the same program and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Unisagrado. Participated in a sandwich undergraduate program at the University of Delaware (USA) as a CAPESScience Without Borders fellow, and conducted a BEPE-FAPESP research internship at the University of Valladolid (Spain), where he worked on biodesulfurization technologies for H#8322;S-rich biogas and microalgaebacteria systems for simultaneous H#8322;S and CO#8322; capture. His research integrates acidogenic fermentation of vinasse, sulfide control strategies, two-phase anaerobic digestion, and emission mitigation in sugarcane biorefineries. He has published in high-impact international journals (Journal of Hazardous Materials, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Journal of Environmental Management) and has experience in teaching, extension activities, and international scientific cooperation.
