Marcelo Tavares da Silva

PhD and Masters degree in Business Administration from FEA/USP, with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and startup development. Researcher in maturity models, entrepreneurial education, and strategies for the creation of nascent ventures, with scientific output in national conferences, teaching cases, and service as a reviewer for academic journals and scientific events. Academic coordinator, professor, and thesis advisor in MBA programs at the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), as well as facilitator and supervisor in undergraduate and graduate courses, both on-site and online. Develops applied research projects in partnership with USP innovation programs, such as NIDUS Innovation Residency and the Laboratory of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (FEA). Holds extensive professional experience in strategic management, business development, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams in national and multinational companies, with operations across Latin America. Academic interests include teaching, research, and consulting in entrepreneurship, innovation, business models, and strategy, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurial education and strengthening the university innovation ecosystem.
