Graduated in Mathematics - Teaching Degree from the São Paulo State University 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (UNESP), Rio Claro Campus, Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences, and currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics at the same institution. He conducts research in Algebraic Topology, focusing on the Classification Theorem of Surfaces, through a Scientific Initiation project funded by FAPESP (process 2022/11324-0). During his undergraduate studies, he served as a volunteer teaching assistant for the courses Differential and Integral Calculus I (2021) and Euclidean Plane Geometry (2022). He also carried out a voluntary Scientific Initiation project in the field of Plane Analytic Geometry (2021-2022). In 2024, he participated in an exchange program in the United Kingdom, supported by FAPESP (process 2024/00439-7), where he undertook a research internship. His academic interests are focused on Pure and Applied Mathematics, with an emphasis on Geometry, Analysis, Topology, and Group Theory (Source: Lattes Curriculum)

The main objective of this scientific initiation project is to initiate the student in research in Algebraic Topology. To this end, we will develop initial concepts of General Topology and culminate in the Surface Classification Theorem.
In this exchange program, connected to the scientific initiation project currently being developed by the student, we propose an immersion in basic ideas of geometric group theory, focusing on topics such as Cayley graphs and group actions, to provide the student with a broader view of the connections between geometry and algebra.
