Birthplace: Brazil

Master's degree in Marine Biotechnology from the Institute of Sea Studies Admiral Paulo Moreira (IEAPM - Brazilian Navy) and the Federal Fluminense University (UFF). Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar - Araras Campus) and Technical degree in Aquaculture from the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP). I began my scientific journey by being awarded in the Young Talents Program, developing a project on the evaluation of non-commercial corn varieties. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a teaching assistant for Systematic Botany and participated in two Scientific Initiation Projects (CNPq) focused on improving microalgae cultivation processes using agro-industrial waste. I worked as a basic computer instructor for indigenous students and was part of the Study and Research Center for Conservation Agriculture (Nepac). Additionally, I served as vice president of the Biotechnology Academic Center VI de Março, strengthening my management and leadership skills. During my master's program, I coordinated the 1st Marine Biotechnology Symposium (2018) and developed a project on the bioprospecting of natural products with environmental and pharmacological applications from marine invertebrates. I also served as national coordinator of the Biotechnology Brazil Movement, promoting scientific dissemination and the appreciation of the field in the country. I was a leader of the scientific outreach group Pop Algae, which seeks to popularize knowledge about microalgae and their various applications. Currently, I am a co-founder of BiotecBlue - Sustainable Aquaculture and Marine Biotechnology, where I lead technological development in bioprocesses and innovative bioproducts derived from microalgae. At BiotecBlue, I focus on creating sustainable solutions such as biofertilizers and microalgae-based products, aligned with market demands and promoting the circular bioeconomy. I coordinate and manage several technological projects aimed at the company's growth, including initiatives in biotechnology, microalgae, agro-industrial waste treatment and utilization, biofertilizers, production scaling, and bioflocculants. Currently, I supervise two Ph.D. candidates and one master's student, in addition to strategic business projects. My journey is marked by a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the practical application of science, contributing to the advancement of biotechnology and the development of solutions that positively impact the agricultural sector and the environment.
