In 2019, I was a member of the winning team in the I Liga Brasileira de Bioinformática (First Brazilian Bioinformatics League, hosted by the AB3C), through our project "Biomonitoramento da qualidade das águas das barragens Taquaras, Laranjeiras, Mina Engenho e seus respectivos arredores" (Bio-monitoring of the water quality of Taquaras, Laranjeiras, Engenho Mine dams and their respective surroundings). Currently, I am a PhD student at Universidade Federal de São Paulo with the project "Filodinâmica de alta resolução e sua aplicação translacional no contexto biotecnológico: identificação, design e validação de peptídeos do SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), Mayaro (MAYV), Oropouche (OROV) e Febre Amarela (YFV)" (High-resolution phylodynamics and its translational application in a biotechnological context: identification, design and validation of peptides from Mayaro (MAYV), Oropouche (OROV) and Yellow Fever (YFV)).
