Anna Julyana Viana Chianca Brilhante

Master student of the Functional and Molecular Biology Program at Unicamp (Campinas - SP), with emphasis on Biochemistry. Works on the project "Structural and functional analysis of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv citri enzymes potentially used for the catabolism of aromatic compounds derived from lignin", under the guidance of Dr. Priscila Oliveira de Giuseppe, at the Brazilian Biorenewables National Laboratory of the Brazilian Center for Research on Energy and Materials (LNBR / CNPEM). Biotechnology's Bachelor from the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). Three years experience in the Laboratory of Biotechnology of Aquatic Organisms (LABOrA), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ian Porto Gurgel do Amaral, where developed and accompanied projects related to the enzymes, gene expression and genetic engineering (transgenesis) of zebrafish and Nile tilapia. Through internships in laboratories at UFPB, FMRP/USP, adn Unicamp, I obtained knowledge related to microbiology, molecular modeling of proteins, and synthetic biology. Founding member, former president and former advisor of the Junior Company Maximize - Biotechnology Solutions. Also acted, during three years, as volunteer at Fundação Estudar - one of the 100 best NGOs in Brazil - trainnig young leaders. Former Counselor from the UFPB Polo of the National League of Biotechnology Academics (2018). Awarded in a National Biotechnology Business Challenge and in a National Marathon of Synthetic Biology. In addition, received the award for academic laurea (3rd place) and was approved in 1st place in the Master's Program of Functional and Molecular Biology at Unicamp (Campinas, SP).
