Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Botucatu, (2010-2014) with an emphasis on Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Public Health. Internships related to food safety, zoonoses, bacteriology and veterinary parasitology. Visiting scientist for 5 years at the "Animal Parasitic Diseases Laboratory" located at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Beltsville, Maryland, supervised by Dr. Jitender P. Dubey, taking part in research projects related to veterinary parasitology and public health, with emphasis on diagnostic methods for detection of Toxoplasma gondii, Sarcocystis spp. and Neospora spp. PhD student at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Botucatu, in Veterinary Medicine, in the field of Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety.
