Postdoctoral researcher in Soil Science at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (Esalq/USP), funded by a FAPESP postdoctoral fellowship. Holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Brasília (20172021), supported by a CAPES scholarship, with a dissertation awarded an honorable mention in the Agricultural Sciences category of the UnB Graduate Award 2022 Edition. Earned a Masters degree in Agronomy from the University of Brasília (20152017), with a CAPES scholarship, specializing in Sustainable Production and conducting research in Soil, Water, and Environmental Quality. Also holds a specialization in Geotechnologies from the School of Surveying Engineering of Bahia (20142016) and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering from the State University of Southwest Bahia (20082013). Developed and coordinated research projects with the Pedomorphogeology Research Group at the Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing Laboratory (Geoped), part of the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine at the University of Brasília (FAV-UnB). His main research interests and areas of expertise include Soil Science, with an emphasis on Pedometrics, Geographic Information Systems, Digital Soil Mapping, Geoprocessing, Optical and Radar Remote Sensing, Environmental Modeling, Google Earth Engine, Soil and Water Management and Conservation, as well as land use and land cover suitability analysis.He is a permanent public servant holding the position of Data Processing Technician (on leave). Previously, he served in a trust position as a Technical Coordinator/Agronomist Engineer at the Municipal Secretariat of Agriculture and Environment. Currently, he conducts postdoctoral research at Esalq/USP and is a member of the GeoCiS Research Group (Geotechnologies in Soil Science). He is also a reviewer for several nationally and internationally recognized scientific journals, such as Remote Sensing (MDPI), Geoderma (Elsevier), and Earth Science Informatics (Springer/Nature). Additionally, he has professional experience in agricultural and environmental consulting, providing technical assistance, rural extension services, and judicial expertise. He is also certified for the georeferencing of rural properties by the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
