Abstract
VASP (vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein) and Zyxin are actin regulatory proteins that are located at cell-cell junctions. Zyxin directs actin assembly by recruiting VASP to specific sites of adhesion. The phosphorylation of VASP and Zyxin modifies its activity in cell adhesion.
