Camilla Kassar Borges

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics (Licenciatura Plena) from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), obtained in 2007. I earned a Master's and Ph.D. in Meteorology from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) between 2011 and 2017. My expertise lies in Geosciences, with an emphasis on Micrometeorology, Environmental Physics, and Applied Meteorology to Remote Sensing, particularly focusing on turbulent exchanges between the biosphere and atmosphere using the Eddy Covariance technique. In 2021, I taught at Faculdade Aprimorar São José dos Campos, delivering remote lectures for engineering and technology courses in the Multidisciplinary Project discipline and providing tutoring support through distance learning platforms such as Moodle (AVA learning environment), Big Blue Button (virtual classroom), among other tools. Between September and October 2022, I participated in the "Structure and Dynamics of the Planetary Boundary Layer in Urban Environment Ecosystem (BOLAUR)" project, conducted under the Access to Atmospheric Research Facilities - Trans-National Access (ATMO ACCESS TNA) program, which granted access to the Warsaw Observatory Station - Remote Sensing Laboratory (WOS RS-Lab) at the University of Warsaw, Poland. From 2023 to 2024, I was a TT-4 fellow of FAPESP in the "Relationship between Atmospheric Discharges and Urbanization" project at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), Brazil. From February 2024 to February 2025, I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Geophysics, University of Warsaw, Poland, in the Remote Sensing Laboratory (ES-Lab), contributing to the AeroPan project Synergistic Remote Sensing of Aerosols from Pandora within ACTRIS and RI-URBANS project (Atual Research Infrastructures Services Reinforcing Air QualityMonitoring Capacities in European Urban Industrial Areas).
