Ph.D. candidate in Sciences (Structural and Functional Biology) at São Paulo State University (UNESP), currently undertaking a sandwich doctoral internship at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, CellSight Ocular Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, working with human retinal organoid models. Holds a Masters degree in Sciences (Cellular, Tissue and Developmental Biology) from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (USP), and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the Padre Albino University Center (UNIFIPA). Experienced in cell biology, developmental biology, neuroscience, retina research, ocular diseases, 3D models, and statistical analysis. Served as a volunteer at the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) at the University of Oxford. Recognized with awards and honorable mentions from institutions such as BRAINN, FeSBE, BRAVO, and ICB/USP.
