Caique Mariano Pedroso

I am a PhD student in Oral Medicine at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), São Paulo, Brazil, with a strong research focus on oral potentially malignant disordersparticularly the clinical management of oral leukoplakia and the application of machine learning and deep learning models to predict clinical outcomes.I hold a DDS degree from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG), Paraná, Brazil, and a Masters degree in Oral Medicine from UNICAMP. During my MSc, my research centered on oral complications following radiotherapy in head and neck cancer patients, with a particular emphasis on radiation-related dental caries. In addition to my primary research, I actively participate in systematic review and meta-analysis groups, contributing to evidence synthesis that supports clinical decision-making and policy development in oral health.My academic journey reflects a commitment to integrating clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology to improve early diagnosis and patient outcomes in oral medicine and oral oncology.
