MSc. Cristina Boggi da Silva Raffaelli, Architect and Urban Planner, Technical Assistant of Scientific and Technological Research at the Geological Institute (IG) at the Environment Secretariat of the State of Sao Paulo since 2010. Research interests includes risk management in urban areas, urban planning and management and dissemination of knowledge in the Geological Museum. She is currently a PhD student in Planning and Territorial Management at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), investigating the role of the Civil Protection and Defense National Policy on risk and disaster prevention and reduction in local government (municipalities) on the State of Sao Paulo. She obtained her master's degree in the Housing Programme in 2006 at the Technological Research Institute (IPT), with post-occupation evaluation for removals from tenements in the neighborhood of Bras, city of Sao Paulo. She worked as an architect at the Brazil Habitat Technical Advisory from 2005 to 2016, on projects for housing financing for low-income organizations. Volunteer collaborator at the Gaspar Center for Human Rights in activities related to situations of social vulnerability. Member of the City Council of Housing of the city of Sao Paulo representing the Civil Society since 2016. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
