Adriano Massuda is a professor at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Business Administration (EAESP-FGV) and a researcher at FGV-Saúde. He holds a degree in medicine from the Federal University of Paraná. He did residencies in Preventive and Social Medicine and Health Administration at Unicamp's Faculty of Medical Sciences. Has a master's degree and a doctorate in Public Health, an area of #8203;#8203;concentration in health policy, planning and management by the Department of Public Health at Unicamp. He was a visiting researcher in the Department of Global Health and Populations at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He worked as a clinician in a Basic Unit in Campinas / SP and in the management consultancy of Hospital de Clínicas da Unicamp. He was deputy executive secretary of the Ministry of Health, municipal secretary of health in Curitiba / PR, National Secretary of Science, Technology and Strategic Inputs of the Ministry of Health, and teaching and research coordinator of EBSHER / MEC. Internationally, he has been a consultant for the Pan American Health Organization, has been a member of the Advisory Panel on Value Based Healthcare and The Financing Future Innovation of Medicines of the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and has been a member of the Lancet Global Health Commission on Financing Primary. Health Care. He is currently the focal point in Brazil for the "Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience" initiative, coordinated by LSE Health Policy, Astra-Zeneca, World Economic Forum, KPMG, Phillips. Lines of research include health systems management, health policy analysis and health systems innovations. He has more than 30 scientific articles in the field of health systems policy and management published in national and international journals and journals, such as The Lancet, Lancet Global Health, BMJ Global Health, Health Policy and Planning, Revista Panamericana de Saúde, among others.
